Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and operations to improve retention and discover, articulate, and demonstrate Katalon’s solutions to deliver on specific customer requirements and desired business outcomes.
• Engineer the ideal customer journey that guides customers to achieving key milestones as they build and scale their software quality strategy
• Develop testing best-practice playbooks and internal processes for the deployment and adoption of Katalon
• Work with CSMs by leading technical discovery sessions with strategic and enterprise customers to understand their business goals, technical constraints, and requirements
• Engage with strategic and enterprise customers, either onsite or remote, in a technical consultancy and advisor role while providing technical and solution guidance and maximizing ROI from Katalon
• Able to articulate an action plan of best practices and practical insights into automation deployments & scaling
• Mentor CSMs and provide guidance regarding testing best practices, communication, and implementation strategies
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing teams to provide feedback to improve products, services, and value messaging based on field experiences and customer feedback.
• Build and maintain select subject matter expertise related to Katalon’s market focus through industry monitoring and participation in external working groups, committees, and development projects and activities such as training, certification, and creation of working examples for reuse internally and by customers and partners.
• Assist in workshops to help strategic and enterprise customers leverage the full value of Katalon platform

• More than 5 years of prior hands-on experience in building automation frameworks using test automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium in large enterprise organizations or serving large enterprise organizations;
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role (QA Lead or Test Lead) at an enterprise software development organization;
• Experience guiding team on testability, acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, and definition of done;
• Experience working in Scrum Teams;
• Experience testing APIs and back-end services;
• Experience with modern ecosystems and automated build/deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Github, Azure Pipelines, etc);
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence internal team members, customers, and partners
• Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change
• Experience partnering with customers and building trusted relationships to define and achieve business outcomes
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective organizational and time management skills the ability to handle multiple engagements and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
